Hey Katt...Unfortunately, I am not really close w/ my in-laws...my husband is the youngest of 5..he has 1 brother and 3 older sisters. To be honest, they wouldn't like me if I was freakin Queen Elizabeth. I was the first girl of the girls my hubby dated that he ever brought around them. He always said if he brought a girl home to his mom's, she was the 1. They get together every Sunday and eat at his mom's. These ppl are so rude to me..I put up w/ it for a few years..now I only go on holiday's. My hubby and I both have been honest about why I don't come around. The funny thing is, me and my husband have been best friends since we were in 8th grade..I'm talking 24 years. I used to go to his house and hang out after school, shoot pool and stuff..so it's not like I was a complete stranger or something. It's all good, tho..I just keep my distance and only go around like I said on holiday's for my hubby. Screw 'em, it's their loss!!! I am glad u get along w/ your b/f family. You need to talk to your family about accepting him, esp if y'all plan on getting married.

My in (out) laws hate me. Such as life, I don't like my mother inlaw, she's a money moocher and a free loader.

Friends and FAMILY!!! I adore my in-laws and am closer to them than I am my mother (father passed away a few years ago). My in-laws are wonderful people and I love them so much!
They understand me and never judge me, unlike my own mother, who does all the time!

but ur parents will. anyway our parents gave birth to us...go thru all the sacrifices.
u can treat ur family as friends, if u open up to them.

So much easier than the alternative....we're lucky!
