The Disembodied Hand that Strangled People
Once upon a time, there was a disembodied hand that liked to skitter around on its fingertips looking for people who didn't go to sleep on time. It would wait, Ninjalike, until the late sleepers finally passed out.
Then it would strangle them and they would die. It's never been caught, to this day.

Of course I'd read you a bedtime story especially your most favorite one which I know you have. I'd read it with different voices to hold your attention (it always works for the 5 year olds). You will fall asleep but slowly, softly and contentedly, the best way to slumber my dear. Nite nite......
