Well you can smash them like Gallagher, plug them with alcohol, or chop them up and make a nice fruit salad.
Watermelon pickles are pretty darn good. In past years when we would have family gatherings, one of my son's would help me cut out an attractive basket out of a watermelon, and he'd make a handle, etc. It looked pretty snazzy decorated with fruit for the table. Once I filled a half watermelon with fresh spearmint from my garden to decorate the table for a picnic. Smelled great and looked pretty..Once, one of my sons who has a weird sense of humor, cut the bottom half of a watermelon and made a hat for a "hat contest " we were having at a party! He put straws all over it and it looked awfully funny....
Well i know if u eat too much they will make you belch loudly.. they make you pee alot...I have been told that they can cut a small hole in it and pour vodka in it .. then everyone get a straw and drink.. never tried that. Ok.. makin water melon rind pickles.... thats all i can think of..

Last summer some kid put a little hole in the end of a watermelon and used it as the top, and poured vodka in it, but it was kind of just absorbed by the inside of the watermelon and what wasn't just looked disgusting.. Like watery pulpy vodka. Gross.
- Has anyone ever tried to make a watermelon pie? Is that possible? Probably not..
- How about a watermelon eating contest.... Or use half (the long way) put some type of liquid and bob for something... (Seems lame)
- Sculpting things in them! I know people have done that!
- Making watermelon sherbet! Or something iced, like italian ice with watermelon pulp, or an ice-e or something..
Well, there's seed spittin'. You can make little melon balls with them and stick in some toothpicks. You can slice them in thrice and take a big wedge and get down and dirty with a melon. You can grease them up and have a diving contest to see which butterfingers comes up with the greased watermelon. You could go all Genghis Khan on them and stick them on a pike whils't you ride past on a horse with your saber drawn and slice them neatly in half (a real deft stroke is when the top half doesn't even fall off). You could put them in an blender with ice (sans skins) and have a watermelon slurpee.
