Is a sense of humor more likely to be misunderstood than seriousness?!
Question: Maybe here that is the case, but in person I think it may be the other way around. People do not know what to make of a serious individual. Most people will still laugh even if they didn't completely get the joke, but they get very uneasy if they aren't sure what a persons intentions are.

yes it is...my son-in-law had a really wierd sense of humor....in fact he was so straight faced that people took him seriously when they shouldn't have...and didn't when they should of...he committed suicide 4 yrs ago....he was so special to our family and me
