Yahoo Answer cheats,are they real?!
Question: my friend has just pointed out something I have suspected before,that he believes some of the 'Top Answer'people with sometimes over a thousand(many more sometimes)are actually cheats with numerous accounts and he gave me other details as well,do you know of any and if you do what would the point be as there are no prizes,holidays or whatever,what do you think?

Ive seen lots of people on here who cheat. I wont name any names but when people have 90% best answer, you know theres something going on !
I have no idea why they do it - it's all rather sad and pathetic.

its hard to say really but if someone did have multiple accounts they could only really award best answer which is ten points and it would take a lot of ten points to get to thousands of points,

I know!!! Surely we're all on here to have a bit of fun and maybe learn some stuff. The lengths some people go to is just stupid. I would go on here even if there were no points.
Having said all that, I'm chuffed to bits when I see the "Your answer has been chosen..." e-mail :-)

yes some have multiple accounts, but a lot of high levels have just been around longer!....i once got an email from someone asking to connect....he had all best answers...everyone!!!, so i turned him down!!....hmmm, now thats slightly suspect to me!!
They are yahoo answer's user's with a top contributor badge under their name they only help a certain few people in one catergory everyone else can help people in different catergory's
i think they r just losers who hv a competitive edge,mayb they get a kick out of asking questions from different accounts and concentrating on one account to answer tem and selecting temselves as the best answer.........well at the end of the day ter's no point lik u said bcz its worth nothing.
That would be more work than it would be worth. There might be a few losers who would do this but chances are they'd end up getting reported anyway.
I have tons of points because I spend my entire day here "working." I'm obsessed.
People who have a very high %age of BA's might just be because they don't answer very many questions. My score would be higher but like I said, I'm obsessed. I'm answering all day long. If I'd shut up for a while my score would be higher. But it's more fun to answer than to worry about points.

ok so some of the top contributers have several accounts where they can actually vote for themselves,i do not know of any personally however,i am not going to begrudge anybody of the fact for high scoring.i know how long it took me to reach level 6 and i know i have a long way to go before i reach level 7.requiring your own personal goal takes alot of time,alot of answers and alot of best answers.
what should it matter to you who is higher on the pole?as long as you get recognition for achieving your goals just take it in stride and don't make this a point competition,you won't have any fun on a forum that is made for entertainment purposes only.havae fun and don't worry about who has more points and how they achieve their points.
i have gained many great contacts from this forum and would not change my position for anyone or anything and could care less about points.
