Yes it creeps me out and I'm usually quite hungry enough to eat it all myself : )
YES it makes me want to stab there hand with a fork!!! i will do it to if somebody already makes me pissed off and then they try to take my food!!! i will at least try to get them and they better get that filthy hand out of the way more fast than i can grab my fork and aim for it.

The next time you are in a place were several people are eating (like a restaurant, pick-nick, barbecue, cafeteria, look around and you will notice that most men (not all, but most) will have both arms resting on the table and around their plates as if they are "guarding" their food. most women do not do this -maybe one arm but not both. Check it out next time you are out. Someone told me this many years ago and I have found it to be true...you will see that an overwhelming number of men will "guard" their plates.
