Is it possible to block a phone number from a cell phone?!
Question: I was told by Verizon that you can not . They suggested of all things to answer the unwanted call and blow a whistle into the phone very loud.. come on with all the technology and they can't do better than that .. Grrr.

I tried to figure out the very same question. The only thing close I came up with is theres this option on my phone that only allows people on my contact list to call me. But I think that if someone tried calling that I know from a number not on it, well, theyd be screwed! So I dunno.... =(
hey, good question, though i think you'd get better answers in the cellphones section, rather than polls and surveys. anyway, my carrier offers their OWN service to block unwanted callers. the charge monthly, and we need to forward the phone number to them, and they add it to the block list, otherwise there's no service that i know of. you might go to your carrier, they must be having some service, it's just that you don't know about it...
I don't think you can, dear. But I could be wrong. The best way is to check with your service provider to see if it can be done. I purposely wait till I have answered other questions & then answered yours at this time because,,,,,,,by answering it , this 2 point have have made me Level 6,,,Woootttt!!!! hehehe,,,finally,,,,
