Survey: Have you ever cried for your Mother? As an adult?!

Question: I have in dreams

Answers: I have in dreams

Yes, I cry for mine when I have to have surgery, am in pain, or scared. I'm 40 years old and still cry out for mine. Thank God she's still living. I dread the day I do lose her.

Yes I have & still do...when she's feeling down.

Of course.

Yes, my Mom died in 1985 and when my illness really flares up especially; I do cry for her. No one can calm me like Mom!?

Yes

It's a weird feeling

Yup, when I think I may be letting her down.

cried FOR mum or BECAUSE of mum? i've done both.. as an adult. when she's sick for the first option and when she frustrates me for the second.

Yes i cry to her sometimes. When i was in labor at the hospital i cried for her.I just wanted her and nobody else in the room with me.

Yes--AND cried even harder because I am BECOMING my mother ~ hehehe

Yes. My younger brother causes her so many problems. It makes me sad to see.

When I was having my baby I wanted my mom there!

yes, when she passed away.

never as an adult or as a child.

Yes, she died when I was 1 year old, and I remember that when I gave birth to my first son I cried so much because I wanted her besides me. Heck, I'm writing this and a tear came out, I cry for her...I do.

yes, i pray for her, i cry for her

Yes and she died 24 years ago.

Yes, whenever I"m sick - I yell, "I want my Mommy!"

Enough said

Im not an adult...

yes, because my mother is mentally ill, refuses treatment and is a hold up in my sisters house. I seen her on sunday and she looked so gray and ashen like she was ganna drop dead that instant. It made me so sad.

And one time (at band camp) i had a dream that she took her fingernails and was gouging them across my forehead tearing off my skin and blood was dripping off my head into my eyes. I woke up and was sweating so bad that i thought i really was bleeding. I was crying so bad that night too.

Yes...a lot...she died 23 years ago and I miss her every day....

Yes. As an adult I have called her or gone over to her house and cried. To me, my Mom is one of few people that will not pass judgment on my reason for crying and I can do it in front of her without feeling weak. Actually calling out for her? No. I haven't done that since I was a child. Maybe since it happened in your dreams, there is a reason you need to be with her. Maybe something subconscious that you don't even realize. Do you miss her? Or maybe something between you is missing?

Many times!! I'm very close to my mother that I even get her sympathy pains......plus, I constantly worry about her.

I watched my Mum slowly die from cancer over 18 months, and I cried like a baby every day. I'm 49 years old and she passed 5 years ago at Christmas. My Dad lived 5 years of hell without her and he passed 2 weeks ago - now I cry for them both. RIP Bill & Carmen
