Someone parked across our garage one morning and I couldn't get the car out. So when my husband got home from work he parked as close as he could one end of the car and my son parked the other. When the person came back to their car they couldn't move it and had to come and knock on the door and ask us to move to let them out. My husband said you'll have to wait until it's convenient for me to move then you'll know how my wife felt when she couldn't go out today because you blocked her in. This person had the nerve to moan that they had to go pick their kid up from school, my hubby said you'll have to walk then won't you. He made her walk when she came back he said maybe next time you'll think first.
She's lucky she didn't have a nice long scratch along her car!

Call the police, who will ticket it for obstruction.
Call a cab,a cop and a wrecker, get to your appointment and have car removed at same time.
as above it is always happening to me then you have to explain why you are late i am sure no one believes me
I move the car, if its parked outside my property then its the owners own fault!
i live in a little terraced house i can,t imagine having a driveway and double gates ,only rich folk have them

they will have the car towed away
i agree,call the police to deal with the owner of the obstructing car and get a taxis. goodluck :)
On this occasion i would get a taxi. Then i would get some legal advice for any future problem. If it would be legal to put a 'no parking' sign on the gate or paint it on the road, which i don't think it is but i would ask anyway. I know some people put those little traffic cones to keep their parking space at their door, but it's only a temporary measure, and you have to move them every time - i would use the law, it's the best way in the end..
No-one has a right to park across your gate - it's selfish behaviour.
You can be sure it will keep happening until you do something about it.

I DO love the way you always make it known that you're NOT chatting, just typing - as if it would make any difference to the trolls ! OOPS.... I wasn't chatting.....
In Spain, you pay 40euro a year-to stop cars Parking near your gates-if they do- you ring a number- and they are instantly removed by a tow truck- they have to pay ALL the expenses-to get their car back.
People Know This- So Don't do it.
