just salvaged about 4 garbage bags FULL of clothes from a scrap car that I will now take home & wash & then take to goodwill to donate....I do it all the time when we have cars to scrap out at my work

by admitting doing good deeds, doesnt that mean youre not doing them for the sake of Allah? if youre doing something for the sake of God, you have that mindset and you wouldnt brag about it.
I've done my good deed for the next several lifetimes. I've been making certain some people have a place to live and don't starve to death. I've been doing this with my own personal savings over the past couple of years.

today i designed a cd cover for my daddy
I went to my parents and helped my dad organize my mom's clothes (she has Alzheimer's) and sort through her shoes to get rid of the pairs she doesn't wear anymore. I also cleaned up their kitchen and helped him clean out the fridge.
