It took me maturing growing up to learn not to care what others think of me
Now I can say I'm as real as they come,
because I learned in the end it's only my Family /Friends that care about me and love me for who I am, and I don't have to fake it for them
But "keeping it real", there was a time when I had very low self esteem and thought I needed at times to act a certain way
and i was very unhappy
Sometimes I'm my sister when a bill collector calls.
Really who I am. And too bad if people don't like it. Not in high school anymore.

The thing is I don't even know who I am and what I stand for half of the time... So I try to be what makes me happy, and someone I will be proud of tomorrow!
i talk different on immigrations coz it makes ppls mad an like who cares coz they is just mean ppls an they come to my island an make fun of us an act all oh im better than u so i do that 2 them.
I'm myself all the time but I will admit that sometimes I have to tone it down. I don't want to scare older people and children.
