Do you pay your medical bills without questioning them?!

Question: no i don't. hospital and drs offices make mistakes.

my bill from my last birth came and it had things listed on it that i was being charged for that i didn't get or have. I called the insurance co. to tell them that there were mistakes to review it befor they paid, and the person at the ins. co. asked if i was sure i didn't have the service? my response was, "i'm pretty sure i didn't have my daughter circumcised!" they reviewed the bill after that, and i got a corrected bill from the hospital also.

no

My insurance company scrutinizes them for me.

Never. I question everything when it comes to giving out my money.

I do not have Medical Bills-fortunately

absolutely not!!!!!!! you have to watch them!!

Insurance covers most of them

I don't have to pay medical expenses !!

Luckily, I have good insurance and good health.
I haven't had any medical bills in (15? 20?) years.
Thousands of dollars for insurance down the drain there.

No, I always look at the bills. I'm not just giving my money away. :)

no because they love to charge you for unnecessary things.

I check every bill because of there maybe a error and then you have to make that question

I scour them. Recently, I had surgery and the hospital charged me $2000 because a doctor I didn't know sat in on my operation! I was so mad! I look over every single one now.

all my bills get checked, it would be stupid not to check them without question these days.

No, because the ER here likes to play games such as "double charge" and "not a valid reason for an ER visit." I was actually told by staff to appeal, which shows their confidence in their work environment.

haha its funny u say that b/c my great grandmother broke her hip and the doctor, to this day, is still trying to get her to pay it...

she's like 80y/o and has Alzheimer's! she aint gonna pay crap! LOL and insurance dont cover it...its been like a year already...still the doc calls...

Absolutely not!

I recently received a medical bill for 475 dollars and did not pay immediately. I asked the doctor's office to resubmit the bill to my insurance and the next thing I know the bill was reduced to 85 dollars.

I am not condoning not paying your bills but I would definitely question things. Insurance companies are not in the business of not making money. They will reimburse as little as they possibly can the first time around.

If you don't have insurance, by all means question the doctor's office or hospital etc.....

Yes ! There is no point in arguing because he won't charge me more as I'm his regular customer..

yes, they take them out of my paycheck for insurance... however, after ending up to the emergency room a few months ago, I feel better knowing that I can go to the doctor if I need to...
