It's interesting that you should bring this up. We have 2 wonderful cats called, Emmy, & Abby, both neutered males. When they were very little we thought they were girls when we named them, however, when they grew up it was to late to change their names. Emmy is short for Emmelia, & Abby is a-typically short for Abigale. However, our boys haven't had any real problems from their names yet! They have brought nothing but joy into our home from the moment they arrived!!!
Both!Abby is often given to either a boy or a girl.

Well dear...to be Abby has always been a female name!....but then again so is Michael...............and some females have that name...............and Ashley to me is a female name.................and some males have that name!
