    good q, Phil.....it just happened to me (recently)
    It is a dog eat dog world. I guess they have problems with being genuine.
    I know what you mean I work in retail and I hate it when someone asks you a question and then walks off or your explaining something and they just go away. It is a lot to do with bad manners and nothing else.
    Jealousy, bad moods or sheer spitefulness. Depends. I can never figure it out.
