Poll: Are you on the...?!

Question: ...Organ Donation list, and if you are would your family or next of kin accept your wishes and give consent?

I am, however my mother who is my de facto next of kin says she couldn't face the idea of me not being 'intact', and wouldn't give permission.

i am but my husband is the same as your mum, i have told him i will haunt him if he doesn't follow my wishes

Oh No!

nope

no

no im not

No sry

Yes, I am.

Im not yet no. Still not sure if I want to be

Nope

no.

yes I am and yes my husband would accept it and give consent.

if you are over 18, you can sign to be an organ donor. yes I am.

Would like to be. Been on medication so long that all my organs are affected and I can't even donate blood! Also have had old variant cjd in the family so wouldn't take a chance on my brain. I guess I'm medically defective lol.

Yes and I would hope they would honer my last request.

i am.... yes

yes I am as my whole family is

no, and i can't decide whether i want to be or not

no

Yes and my family would go with it I believe, we haven't really spoken about it too much.

It was my parents that put me on the list 3 years ago when i was in a near fatal car accident and they didn't think i'd pull through.

I was a little shocked !!!

no i donating anything

no.I'm 15. but when i turn 18 will get to the Organ Donation list

no

nope and dont want to be

I am and I certainly hope my husband consents to my wishes. Once I'm dead they're not much use to me and if they could help someone doesn't that mean I'm living on in someone else? Wouldn't that help the people you live behind?

I'm not on it yet, but I definitely want to donate my organs.

Why let yourself rot in the ground when you can help people after your death? It's much more logical.

Yes I'm on an organ donor list and yes my family would respect my wishes and let my organs be used.
My children have all requested that I let their organs be used too, if anything should happen to them.

I'm on the list, but both my mum and dad have said that they wouldn't give permission. They think that if you're on the list and you go into hospital they won't do they're best to save you if they find out your a donor. What a load of bollox!

My other half is on the list as well so I know that if he does die before me I would have to agree to his organs being used. Saying that, why would you need them when you're dead?

I am. And you really need to find someone else to act on your behalf in case something happens to you. A dad, a sibling, someone. Tell as many people as you can that you want to be an organ donor so that if God Forbid something happens, they can step up and say your wishes for you.

No.
I'm not old enough to apply yet.
But i think i would go for it.

yes I'm on the list
i hold a card and my family know of my intentions
although for some reason i said no to them having my eyes dunno why but it creeps me out
i also donate blood and I'm on the bone marrow register
