I always had a problem with final exams when I was at school. Coursework I did great at. It was always the last exam of the school year. I revised and worked hard.
I found out that the reason was because I have something wrong with my memory which means that I forget things easily and the stress of exams makes it worse.

xx

u need vision and revision

OK SO WHAT

Luckily I have never had this problem. I usually do pretty well on tests.

yea its all nerves...try relaxing before you take the test don't over think it

in used to be that way but now that i work at a school its easier to help kids that are that way...dont get nervous if u know the material there is no reason to choke....

i've never experienced this. sorry. maybe you just need to relax. I do not advise drinking when having your baby, definately a big NO NO. However, warm milk and cookies make me relaxed before something big like an interview..etc..

NO,,,,, EXAMS R EASY!!!

IM DESPERATE!!!!!!!

yes i do the same on my exams

I'm assuming you have to go somewhere to write the exam...maybe @ home there is this comfort level, and there isn't as much pressure, where an exam you only have a couple of hours. You probably just get nervous...try to relax and reassure yourself that you know the material.

I am similar in that aspect, what I find is I feel pressured during the exam, especially if it is timed, I have to force my self to slow down and make sure I understand the question. I have found myself reading a question, and thinking I know what it is asking for just to find out later that I misread it. Or another thing I will do is I will take a short mental break, and go back to doing the exam just to find out that I skipped a question or did the same question over and got my numbers all screwed up.. that if it is like a bubble answer sheet.

There is a certain way that your brain processes knowledge and everyone is a little different. You need to look at the way you are studying and try to tweak the process a little. For some reason your brain is not recalling the information in a specific setting. Look for fake tests for the material online and try to answer it without looking at the text. Maybe a mock exam will help. Or something simple that i used to do is when you get to something you need to recall, write it down on a note pad. This is only so you can recall writing it down. Hope I helped. Sorry about being longwinded.

test anxiety is what it is. you need to start taking practice tests and then use the process of elimination. eliminate answers that you know are not the right one. if you see two answers that are similar, chances are that it is one of those answers.

No I actually seem to do much better in my online courses than in any on campus classes I take. Maybe you need to talk with someone at your university about overcoming test taking anxiety and see if they can help you overcome this. Also, make sure when you are taking your tests that you are in a room without distractions (ex: your kids, husband, tv, radio). Maybe send your husband and the kids out of the house for the hour during your test that way you have no reason to focus on anything but the test and your class material.
Hope this helps and Good Luck!
