Answers: why are they always the futherest one from the entrance..?

For handicapped people it is not the distance they go but the quality of the amenity (size and ability to move around) that matters more. Able bodied people don't care and would be first in if it was nearest the entrance which is why it is put further away to stop that happening. Same with parking spaces.

lol I'm sure walking (or wheeling if in wheelchair) a few feet won't hurt them!

They're not

They're sending a signal not to be handicapped.

most of the handicapped toilets in my town are now seperate,to the men+womens and mothers rooms now :)
but i have seen some that are together and your right most are the furthest away,i guess it may stop able body people from going in 1st as most would,cos they are too lazy to think its for handicapped folks.
