I have often found that the answers from "top" contributors tend to be long, lengthy epics that have been copied and pasted from Wikipedia. That doesn't make them a friggin genius!

Of course not! If they have the best answer I'll pick theirs. If not, it's not 'cause they're a top contributor, I just prefer another answer.
If there are 2 questions that are equal, then being English, the underdog gets it. Top cons don't need the points as much.
So yes, guilty-sorry, but I only do it if they were both as good as each other, but always they get it if it was best answer.

I did ask YA if they could change the choose best answer action. I'd sometimes like to give best answer to 2 people. 5 points each or something. Never got a reply though.
