Can you tell me about a surgery you've had?!

Question: if any?

Answers: if any?

Ive never had surgery but my husband has had many in the past two years. He was blown up in Iraq by an IED. He tried to salvage his lower left limb by using his Lat muscle in his back as a calf muscle. He ended up having too many infections and had to amputate. All in all I think he's had 20 operations since he was injured. He's doing great now though. :-)

i had my tonsils taken out when i was little

rotator cuff. It was kinda fun. I didn't have to work for 6 weeks. lol.

And when I got back to school, the teacher bitched at me for missing so much school.....she shut up when I told her what went on. Man, she was a *****.

It was in my butt region....the surgeon told me I would need another in five years and correctly predicted the pain of the first procedure would cause me to stretch that five years out as long as possible....I am on year seven...I know it needs to be done but I still remember laying on my stomach for a week eating vicodin and not enjoying them.

Oral surgery to have 4 teeth extracted.

I had my neck fixed and had to wear a halo for three month. I've had both my feet fixed and my right knee. I've had my wrist operated on and several other surgeries. I feel like the dang bionic woman I tell you. I had my uterus and ovaries removed when I was 24. I won't hardly go to the doctors anymore because they always want to do something!

Well, Ive lost 4 wisdom teeth, 2 tonsils, a uterus, and a bunch of female stuff and seems like my brain, too.

I had my tonsils removed when i was 29, the recovery was worse than child birth...

I can. I had a laparoscopy a couple of years ago, they took pictures during the surgery and I was ovulating at the time and they managed to capture it! So, I've seen myself ovulating. Not many people can say that, lol :)

No.

I've had that thing, I forget what it's called now.....where they put an incision in your belly button and insert a small camera to check things out....oh yeah, it's called a laperoscopy, about 16 years ago. It only required two stitches, but it wasn't pleasant at all, I can tell you that!
