To me this kind of person is someone who cares only for himself and doesnt care about others and their feelings

We're all selfish. Self-preservation is one of the basic urges in nature.
Everyone is selfish to an extent. Everyone needs to look out for themselves over other people.
Selfish to me is someone who thinks of no one but themselves ,and dont give a nac about other,s feelings to achieve their selfish needs....Yes it does seem there are a lot in the world nowadays who put themselves first..
They only think about how things affect them and not how they affect things.
Selfish is when they are wholly incapable of comprehending that other people have feelings like they do. I think a lot of people are selfish, yes, definitely.
People who are short sighted or tunnel visioned. Ambitious people need this characteristic to advance in whatever they do.
There is also the adage where do unto others as they would do unto you....but do it first......It's a cruel competitive world
