Did anyone else hear the comments made by Obama's pastor?!
Question: I heard them on Rush Limbaugh's show today. Rush may have overreacted *slightly* but man, what the pastor said is insane. He went as far as to suggest that we deserved what happened on 9/11. And some of the comments were actually quite racist-sounding.

I didn't hear it - but you better believe they won't talk about it or call him a racist on tv like they do to all the white people that say stupid things. God forbid if the media says anything negative about Obama.

Yes, I heard them first thing this morning and I can't get it out of my head....This is the person who has been most influential in Obama's life for 20 years.....*shakes head*....does "hell in a handbasket" mean anything to anyone?
Rush did put it on his show but he didn't play the whole speech of Obama's Pastor. However, some of what I heard will make one think. We should be careful about this speech. I like to hear it from another source to get balance reporting. I will keep my ears open.
I think you shouldn't inflict one man's opinion on another man.
This type of spin is always done trying to convince voters to stray from the issues with personal attacks.
I suggest you ignore this pastor's comments as relayed by a 3rd party as 1) they probably don't reflect the opinion of anyone else and 2) the comments could very easily be taken out of context and therefore the true meaning be misconstrued.
