Hank Hudson of the Montana DPHHS Mishandles Misconduct Complaint
Hank Hudson was asked to rule on a misconduct complaint involving someone on his staff and Hank Hudson got it wrong.
Someone on his staff said you cannot collect food stamps (1) if they are eligible for food stamps, and (2) if a 500$ fine or auto insurance cost leaves them without money for food.
Hank botched the misconduct complaint when he said food stamp rules do not allow one to collect food stamps if they are eligible, and have to pay 500$ for a traffic fine or auto insurance.

Allen Nichols is correct on this site. You can indeed collect food stamps if you are eligible, and a 500$ traffic fine or auto insurance cost leaves you unable to purchase your food.
The originator of the complaint is asking Joan Miles of the Montana DPHHS to explain federal food stamp rules to Hank Hudson.
