What is the longest you have gone without sleep?!

Question: How much longer do you think you could stay awake if you tried it again?

Answers: How much longer do you think you could stay awake if you tried it again?

3 days when I was in Vegas. My mother found me in my hotel room sitting up in bed with a fork in my hand and a tray of food in my lap. I had fallen asleep sitting up. LOL

A day. It sucked.

Two days*

32 hours - although the last 15 hours was due to a very long acid trip....

EDIT: this was 20 years ago.... not yesterday

About 47 hours but that was due to Love. for her forever

until i started noticing the 'little people' scurrying around in the shadows~

Two days. I was about as friendly as Cujo after the bat bite.

39 hours. i stayed up all night at my friend's house then almost all night the next day. but i had Pepsi so it was all good. haha i'm a little insane *shrugs*

maybe 20 mins... eyez a sleepie puppie
<------------------------

Three days, I have no idea how long I can stay awake, and there is no way I am going to try and find out.

36 is the most for me. I think I could go 40 if I tried to break the wrecker, but I would be real moody and that wouldn't be good for those around me.

Just over 3 and a half days...was crazy!

i stayed up two nights in a row a while back. now, i can barely stay up til 3 or 4am... gettin old

A day. And that was long enough. I was outta wack for a few days after that. Never again for me.

two days... :(

An entire weekend...

2 minutes at the most

2 days

In college I stayed away for about 3 days trying to finish up my senior project. I don't think I could do that again being 10 years older. It took lots of caffeine and sugar. After I turned my project in I put my belongings in my car went back into the building and slept in the study area until the janitor kicked me out!

Since I was little I maybe get 2 hours a sleep a night, I wake up every 10 minutes, I have been to doctors, I dont want to tale sleeping pills so i invested in movies.

I think it was 3 days, it sucked! I slept for a whole day

1)Two very active days. I was about 16. I rode my old school bicycle about 20 miles (total) the first day. Stayed up all night playing cards. The next day my best friend and I walked to the county fair, spent the day there, and walked most of the way back. (sidenote: We got a ride part way back in a really cool '58 Corvette!). It was about 15 -20 miles each way. That night I remember my plate heading towards my face at supper. Green peas and roast beef. That was Friday night - I woke up Sunday, in the middle of the day, with a nurse standing next to my bed. I was OK, just totally exhausted.

2)Couldn't do that now. I did stay up two days a couple of months ago but without the frenzied activity of a 16 yr. old

Thanks for asking! I love the way these type questions revive old memories!

three days, i can't really guess the only reason i did that is cause i was visiting friends, if i'm at home with nothing to do the i'll just fall asleep as soon as i lay down

19 hours. i could probably stay up all night

About 48 hours. I dozed off towards the end for a few moments. When I got up from my seat, I stumbled as if I was drunk (I don't drink).

Somehow made my way to bed and slept for about 14 hours (which is very long for me).

seriously, last week it was like 60 hours or so... i woke up for work on wednesday morning at like 4 am. and didn't go to bed til after i put my son to sleep at like 9 pm on saturday night....

A day and a half. So 36hours on no sleep.

Now about 18 hours....

A bus driver killed a boy .I TRIED TO LOCATE HIS ROUTE AND I HAD TO CATCH HIM AND HAND OVER TO THE POLICE,I COULD WAIT FOR THE BUS AND ENSURED TO TAKE HIM ALONG ARRANGED ANOTHER DRIVER AND THE CULPRIT WAS HAND OVER TO POLICE.I WAS WAITING IN THE DESERT AND MOVING FOR MY DUTY AND WHOLE NIGHT AWAKE PLUS THE DAY TOO!
