Why do most people put more effort into their wedding than their actual marriage!

Good question, maybe because it's the only day where they are publicly on show for the whole day, everyone is looking at them.
Its easier to focus on one day than to make an effort continuously everyday of your life forever.
I guess when you wed, its your special day and they day that you share with your friend and family and so you want to make sure it is perfect, as you know that life is not perfect and there will be ups and downs, but those times, you don't need to share with friends and fam.
Planning the wedding is the fun exciting part, paying bills and having to compromise your wants and needs is not so fun.
because they want to convince people that they're happy i think.
but for me,if iam to marry i wouldn't care a bit about the wedding,i maynot even have one.
i just want to be REALLY happy.
cos they just do it for show and to get more presents
