I happen to know that you are not an ugly person. You are beautiful inside and out, responsible, caring, kind, and an extremely considerate person. I can tell. When people try to put anyone down, its usually a reflection of their own-self. They are probably crying out with grief about their own situation. Perhaps, you ought to send her a note of thanks, for considering you a close enough person to share her pain with you, and assure her that you will pray that she will get better soon. See how she likes that!
