Does all knowledge have value ?!
Question: So I was in the pub the other night helping Funbags do her crossword . One of the clues was next planet after Mars ( badly worded I'll grant you but I didn't write it ) so as Funbags is over 9 years old I exspected her to know the answer . As she stared blankly at me I told her it was Jupiter and exspresed my surprise that she didn't know it . She said it is usless knowlage I mantain all knowledge has value . Who is right ?

i have won some great prizes in quizzes thanks to my ability to retain all sorts of useless knowledge, my friends always fight over who's team i go on so knowledge is good, knowledge wins beer and free drinks,

Value to those who wish to use it
All knowledge has value until it is proven wrong. I feel like every day something we held as truth is proved to be incorrect. So I think that knowledge of fact is good, but openness to improvement and new information is the key. A couple years ago the answer to a similar question would have been Pluto. So yes, all knowledge has value, but the value is relative to the person. I value any and all knowledge I can get my hands on, but come people may dismiss information based on beliefs or other reasons.

Oh my god, that it pretty thick of her! Did she never learn the My Very Easy Method Just Speeds Up Naming Planets thingy! Lol. I told my friend that a McDonald's straw hold 7.5ml of liquid and he told me we could no longer be friends! Lol. I thought that knowledge had value!
