In prison I knew a guy they called "bigger than me"because, no matter who was addressing him, it was accurate.
a friend of mine was nicknamed 'balloon' cuz people said his head's like a balloon...
I know a guy whose nickname is Sponge - not because he's always sponging money off people, but because when he was in the uni cricket team he used to like operating this machine called the Sponge Master which was used for cleaning artifiical cricket pitches. Its the most implausible cause for a nickname, but he's still called it although most people can't remember the origin!

one of my friends knows someone at his school that's nicknamed tic-tac because everyone in the locker rooms says his ding-dong is the exact size of a tic-tac............
