Question: Governor Spitzer got popped for the brothol that he paid to keep him on the hush hush.. but it got out.. so shouldnt he get his money back? The Governor of New York Got caught paying $5,500.00 dollars an hr.. Im thinking sence he is the top dog of New York he can get it for free.. but he paid to keep it a secret and since he paid and still got caught shouldnt he get his money back? I mean not the pleasure cost but the Secret fair. At least.. common now.. the man has Legal fees to pay now..

It depends on whether the secret was revealed by the person I paid or if I got caught and it was figured out--if it was the second then they should not owe me money since they technically stuck to keeping it a secret on their part. It also depends on whether I paid the person TO protect the secret, putting them in charge of no one ever finding out, and if they did, then they would owe me money. You can actually sue for it too if there was a written agreement---atleast I think so.
So with the whole Governor situation, if the secret got out because of the "friend" then he should definitely get his money back.
