I live in NJ , I'd see Times Square, Ground Zero, A show, Statue of Liberty . Yankee game or Met Game , if it's after the season started. If it's warm you can go to mid town in the early morning and watch the filming of the Today show.

Metropolitan Museum., Museum of Natural History, The Planetarium do it for me. There is really so much to see depending on your particular taste. I used to hang around Greenwich Village when I was younger in the 1960s. Wow, those were the good old days.
Live there... Empire State Building, Ground Zero, Radio City Music Hall, The Garden, FAO Schwarz, Wall Street, there's so many great things here in the city that never sleeps...
I was born there. I like the Statue of Liberty, and the little shops blaring music of all kinds. The Spanish music rocks. It's so colorful in NYC.
