Does pornography REALLY destroy women?!

Question: I mean, depending on her co-star, she may have some internal bruising and soreness, but I doubt she would be destroyed.

And if you don't wanna be there, get a new job.

Of course not.
If a people choose to enter a profession that they aren't emotionally equipped to deal with, then they are the ones at fault if they suffer psychological damage from it. It's not the profession's fault.
That could apply to health care, police, fire department, military and any number of other occupations as well.

Alot of what you see is depiction ...only the "actor" knows for sure.

I love porn, what's wrong with it?

No, I do not think that it does.

they all look like they're having a pretty good time ;-)

and It hasn't destroyed me yet ;-)

For the women who do porn it destroys some of them ... Mentally and emotionally

As for watching it.. I'm guessing it can be addictive but I watch porn and I'm not addicted to it by any means

Im REALLY destroyed when I cannot find any new porn

No I guess she REALLY doesn't get the ins and outs enough,

But no, not destroyed, just wrecked, like a car, that can never be used again by anyone who doesn't have the right tools to make it work again.

Well if you can't stand the heat get your anus out of the porn shot!

I love porn, Love it!

I'm renting some today!

Porn-a-thon at my place!

Oh yeah just look at how it destroyed Jenna Jameson.. she's beautiful and rich and has a hot boyfriend and a great life and a huge fanbase.... uh huh, totally ruined, that one.

While I typically stick with simply thumbs up when someone says something that I agree with fully and that sums up my view on it completely I decided this one was just TOO important for one measly thumbs up. Furious Blue's answer is EXACTLY RIGHT!!!

No, but a lot of it DOES demean and degrade women, and that's the whole point of it. And the women who "star" in it are indeed subjecting themselves to it, but at the same time helping perpetuate certain attitudes. Still, I'm fervently anti-censorship. The real problem is that this is what hetero men apparently want.

*Note that I said "a lot of it." Anybody who's seen enough porn knows that a huge percentage of it really IS all about not just the objectification, but the deliberate degradation of women - and I'm not just being a prig (trust me). If Jenna Jameson represents the best a girl can do in that biz, there ya go.

Aren't most porn stars pretty much damaged BEFORE they start their career?
That being said - porn does not damage women/men... PEOPLE damage other people.

Must everything with men be about porn? Get a life.
