Sims 2????!
Question: i have the sims 2 on my laptop,and everytime i run the application the laptop starts making weird noises(due to the excessive working of the memory, think)
the question is,i plan to buy the expansion packs for the game(i have none currently),will my computer malfunction and die or explode or something?

I play it on my laptop, too, and I hate to uninstall OFB and Pets to get it to run Seasons...haha. I would recommend upgrading your laptop, buying a new one just for the game, or a new graphics card.

Buy "The Sims: Life Stories", it's the basic same thing as the Sims 2, but it's designed to run well on laptops.
i have the sims too.. and i cant play on myne either.. it alot of memory too, but then again u need a gaming computer to play those types of games.... or get more memory
You'll need to either use Sims 2 life stories, or use a PC.
It won't be able to handle expansion packs.
yea mine does it too, it depends on the memory but probably not because the expansion packs carry little mamory , sims 2 carries alot though.
You should be safe if your ccomputer is a fast as always.

nah i got dah sims n all dah expansions expect for Free Time n i alway hear dat sound. Its just dah CD. go head n buy dah expansion packs.
P.S with out dah expasion packs dah game is going to be really borin...
No your computer will not have any more problems than it is already experiencing. I exit some of your background tasks or get more ram. By doing a simple task such as that you should not get that error message and the game will play faster and smother.
