i would've kept that money at least half of it and went shopping, I found the money...so i feel that i deserve some of it.

I'd turn it in, its probably drug money or counterfeit (who has 30g in cash?) and I dont want the police to trace it to me.
tried to find the owner-hey sometimes those kinds of things turn out for the better, some people who try to find the owners aften get to keep it, or the true owner's are so amazed by your henesty that they give you something anyways

years ago before my career was ruined by a monster would have given in back now that i'm in debt cause i have banned from proper employment for 4 yrs i would keep it but give a good chunk away to people who need it
She did the right thing. I would have done the same thing, however, it would be very tempting to keep it.

I would have given them some of it(im not quite sure right now how much lol) and then take the rest for me and my family.

Report it to the police so they could advertise it. Then if nobody claims it, I get it---with a clear conscience.

30K is a lot of money and i could have merrily skipped away with it.
on the other hand, if the box had a name on it, i would want to return it to said people

well since i worked at a THRIFT store and it WAS a donation, i would have kept it and just not spent any for a while.and then been very secret about it and not spend it very loudly.and i sure wouldn't tell anyone else about it.but that's just me.
If I were to come across 30,000 I would give it back. No telling what type of people are the owners of that money. They might try to kill me to get it back if they found out I spent it.
But if I did decide to keep it. I wouldn't give it to charity or give the people back half of their money. 30,000 would probably only last you about a year if that long. Depends on your spending habits.
