They like to look for excuses to make you wrong when you're not.
human nature i guess. sadly, most people are guilty of this. it takes character to admit when we are wrong.
It's an eagerness to be the first one to figure something out & pass their wisdom on to others, it doesn't occur to them they may be wrong.
