How do YOU say "ukulele"?!
Question: I am only interested in how you say it. This is very interesting. I asked another question, as how you all would say "karaoke", and I've noticed that many people's vocabularies are very Americanized, and I would like to see how you all would say "ukulele". Please do not provide a dictionary, etc. as a source. Part two to this question: Do you ever spell "ukulele" as "ukelele"?

It's not YOU-ka-lei-lei, it's ooh-ku-le-le. As far as spelling it's "ukulele."
I say, "you-ka-LAY-lee."
...and usually mispronounce karaoke as "ka-ROW-kee." (Minnesota style)
"you ka lay lee"
