That would be cool - I don't think we should lose points for asking questions period, since without the questions then there wouldn't be a Y/A!
Yes, if they get more than a set amount of answers, they should get their points back...problem is, I've seen stupid questions with 100's of answers, so I'm not so sure if that'd work.
Maybe there could be an additional "vote" for "is this is an interesting/good question" and they should get their points back.

Honestly, questions should only cost you 2 points when it is all said and done. It just takes a little follow-up on your part.
After losing the 5 points for asking a question, just be sure to pick a "Best Answer" out of the responses your question gets and then you will get 3 of your points back!
