Ah! You've asked the right person...I was "King" of the playground amongst my peers...they worshipped me like the Tom Sawyer Gone Bad genius kid that I was...
I was incredibly good (supernaturally fast) at...
"Two Court Dodge Ball..."
Maximum number of balls (red bouncy playground ones, but occasionally to show off and prove how manly we were, we would allow one hard yellow playground ball) 4 altogether, no more no less, each team of five players occupies the half-court of the baskeball court, and they may not go outside the lines, or get hit with a ball, or they must go to the end of the opposing players side, to collect the balls thrown from the other side, and then try to hit the players from that end as well...
The winner is the last man standing in one of the two half court areas...because you are constantly having to dodge balls coming from both sides...I used to do a little "Footloose Move" when two people were setting it up to throw from both directions at the same time...and believe me...if you could do that more than two times without getting hit by one of the balls...
Lisa would worship you like a God, and go steady with you for 6 months...well worth the effort, back then...Lisa was a snot-nosed 5th Grader...but to me...only back then...she was a cutie, and well worth the danger of being pelted from both sides by playground balls to prove your manhood...

Monkey bars for me too. Until the day I was hanging upside down and swinging back and forth, Humming a song. Minding my own business. Then my leg slipped and I did a belly flop, spread eagle, face first in the dirt. What made it even worse was there were 2 little boys pointing their finger at me laughing. I would have called them "Stupid dummy's" if I hadn't knocked the breath out of myself. That had never happened to me before and I thought I was going to die.So then I started sticking with the swings....Until the day I went to the playground right after it had rained. And I decided to stand up because the swing was wet and see how high I could go, I forgot how slippery my shoes were!
yes..me to monkey bars..just do not stick your lips to them in the winter i learned the hard way lol
