Do you understand the emotional "distress" that "diets" can !

Question: I'm on Jenny Craig since Monday (am Italian born and bred) and weight 164 pounds to my 5.1 height.
I am a nervous wreck (although, have seen results quickly) and hope and pray, next week (also working out 3 times a week) will be better. Please tell me, it will be better ??

Thank you in advance, for your positive and encouraging answers ! *giggling*

I will keep you in my prayers.....
Try to look at it from the angle that you want to be healthy and watch your children grow to adulthood....
I am 5'2.5" and weigh more than I should....still....
So, far I have lost 74 pounds...and still am nowhere near my target weight...and I have been at this for 5 years.....
I have not went at this for instant results...
but
changes in lifestyle...
My husband has lost 65 pounds...
We follow the diabetic diet (he is not diabetic) it is just a healthy diet....and get more exercise....Prayer helps as well.... Remember....."Lead us not into temptation"
Peace be with you.

Ouch ! Poor you ! Hang in there sweetheart, resist temptations!
Vive la Resistance !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know some people who have dieted. it looks hard. good luck!

Very emotionally draining, be sure you don't end up with stress fat (belly, butt and thighs). You certainly don't look like you need Jenny Craig....But best wishes reaching your desired goal. I can't give up my food.

It's going to be alright dear. I promise. Keep your eye on the prize, and take solace in the fact that whether you are 164 or 264, I still think you're beautiful!

Now git offa my lap woman, I'm hungry!

of course it will get better-i found the first 3 weeks of any diet and excercise programme most challenging-but you will be so happy with yourself when you get past it,you will by then have all this come naturally! As long as you dont obsesse with this programme-you wont stress :) lots of hugs+luck girl, let me know how you go!

Hang in there honey! Remember, anything worth having is worth fighting for!

hi yes i do u need to borrow Megan she'll soon get the weight off for u loads of exercise for me tee hee good luck with all Hugs

It is very stressful because we get disappointed when we don't see results right away. Good lucky wucky!
