A well written, well thought out, somewhat humerous, and slightly sarcastic answer, in the right place, is good.
If course, if someone is moping that their pet died, it is not the time and place to say "Congratulations, good riddance, did you cook and eat him?"
On the other hand, if someone is venting about ditching a boyfriend or girlfriend, and you can taste the venom in their answer, and they ask: "So should I have run over him/her with my car?"
Well, now! That deserves an a-propos answer... like: "Sure! Why should you allow this piece of human hamburger to inflict themselves on soemone else, when you could have fed a dozen kind, loving, crows?"
Everything has its place and time.

Yes I do, although sometimes you be sarcastic and nobody can tell you are being sarcastic and then you get thumbed down, so you have to expalin your sarcasm which defeats its purpose in the first place
