Personally, I think that some of you are great. However, the others are basically morons. Some Americans (I hope not all) are ignorant and disrespect other religions (especially Islam). Those people are arrogant and think that they are superior than any other nation. Morally speaking, I think you're on the same level as a third world nation. I am sick and tired of you buffoons posting illogical questions like "Is Obama's a Muslim?" every single freaking day. Use your brain for Christ sake: even IF he's a Muslim, would that affect his decision making? You're suppose to vote for a leader that brings benefits to his people, not by his believes. I used to think that America was a great nation. Now I hate it. Thx for changing my mind, you egoistic people! You're a disgrace to George Washington!

As a Canadian, I often feel that unless it happens within the boundaries of the US of A it simply isn't applicable or interesting to their lives. Bring on Brittany, Paris, OJ or Michael Jackson, who cares if their nation is being drained of all its natural resources, who cares about the poor and homeless, who cares that they are spending millions each week to fight a ridiculous war that should never have been fought in the first place...........According to the neo-cons it will all come out in the wash when Jesus returns..........Is it any wonder the rest of the world recoils in horror?!!

Yes there are ignorant and stupid people but what nation doesn't! People are People and if you are trying to say the middle east is any more tolerant and thoughtful, then you have a closed mind. Last time I checked if u live in a country like Iran you can't start but a church and not practice Islam. In America you can shout out on the streets Death to all Americans and you will still be granted the same rights as everyone else.
Americas not perfect nor do we make the best desicions. When america attacks another country its b/c we are trying to help a certain group of people, but the people of the opposite side suffer and are hurt by this. So what should America do? Either not interfere when its brought up in the UN that there is genecide in Africa? If we go in then the side who was commiting genecide and innocent people on there side will suffer. But if we didn't do anything then then it would seem as if we were careless and selfish for not helping. It's a paradox filled with nasty alliances and enemys that is ineviatble when we intervene. Being the world power comes responsibiltes that we have delt with better then any nation before us.
Maybe one day this world will be run by someone else, and that day people will look back and wish we still had America managing it. For example b/c of America Indias economy and standard of living is skyrocketing due to exporting jobs and coroporation.
Maybe ill go to Saudi Arabia and start a business and a church and once someone says one thing intolerant ill tell everone I hate that country. . . . . . Wait a minute I can't do that!

Substitute the word "Americans" for "Pakistanis", "Mexicans", "Chinese" or "Germans" and most would consider your statement rather bigotted. However, since it's Americans, it's looked upon by many as a legitimate question. I guess in that department, we Americans get a pass. Oh boy!
I'm familiar with questions like this, and they all follow the same pattern. Say some horrible things about America and Americans in general. Then attempt to save face in the end by admitting that you don't believe all Americans are like this, and you've met some nice ones.
