For anyone who has been inside abandoned houses built in the late 1800's. ea!

Question: up old jars, bottles, containers, packages and boxes of household items, skin care, health care, cosmetics, perfume and hygiene products?
If so, which ones did you find?
What were the name brands?
What was the condition of the contents?
Did it the scent seem the same as it was when it was bought back then? Or did it change in scent, texture and color?

i do live in an old house built in the late 1800's and the cellar is full of little things like that, i found a lipstick in a gold case, the lipstick was red, i also found a little powder compact also in a gold case and there was a powder puff and powder still in it, i also found a cigarette case and a silver matches case which i still have and some bone china crockery, i have no idea how old they are but i think they were from the 20's, alot of people have lived here before me, the house was a 14 bedroom townhouse but now it's made into flats...i still have them items today but i have never used them...i cannot see the brand name of them because it's very faint, but it was a nice litte find

also down in the cellar is a mural that the American soldiers painted...it's been there since the 40's, and it's the only mural that survived the floods...t's like a betty boops style f cartoom of GI's in jeeps, but they are in animal form... Report It

  • i'm sorry, but i think you are in dire need of a hobby.

You could try asking all the crack heads that hang out in them....other than that I don't know anyone who goes into abandoned houses. Good luck.

    no never,
