Maybe tell her you've got a phobia of them? Or say you really don't think you're responsible enough and they might die? That'd change her mind.

as u no im a total plank and would forget and with all my work etc stuff going on i will forget and i can barly rem to brush my own teeth let alone look after them, sorry but when u get bk we will diff go out 4 a drink 2 mk up 4 it
