well babes.. let me tell you all about it.. lol.. i fell UP the stairs.. and fractured my wrist.. i done it again 2 yrs ago.. and broke my finger... blasted stairs!..pmsl....;)
I have done both, but I fall up more often.
I always fall up stairs, I've never really understood how, but I do.

upstairs, more often than you'd think. When you're in a rush and your legs move faster than the stairs approach. It hurts. As of yet, *touch wood* never fallen downstairs properly.
I tend to fall downstairs more than i fall upstairs
funny you should say that hubby fell upstairs last night. Me well down about three times up about 15, it's really annoying because I always bang my shin x

I do both, but not very often.
I fell upstairs last week, drenched myself and the carpet with the glass of water I was carrying and worst of all I bruised my leg in 3 places and I can still see them, well just about!

Both. All the time. If I don't trip, break, or run into something at least once before my day is up it is a miracle. I am SO very clumsy.
I've done both, falling up is very painfull on your shins!
I've fallen upstairs, it was funny as hell (couldn't see with a huge basket of laundry in front of my face) The clothes flew everywhere. ((I even think my dogs were laughing)). Down stairs a few times too (thankfully just a few steps, same thing though I had something blocking my view and did not get hurt. The most damage was done to the stuff I was carrying.
One time out of stupidity I did trip on a stair for no reason and my arms went flyin in that circular motion (as if that's really gona help), it was pretty funny.
I think it's happened to us all at one point or another...lol
If you fall going upstairs it's supposed to mean you're going to be going to a wedding. If you fall downstairs it means you're going to be going to the hospital :-)
I tend to fall up, 'cos i get a run going then my trousers get in the way and there i am flat on my face in the middle of the stairs.....soemtimes i slide down too.
