How do you clear frost/ice from your windscreen?!
Question: Do you scrape, sit there and wait for it to defrost or do what I do and pour over lukewarm water (not too hot or you might crack the glass!)

well even luke warm water can crack it,
i buy de icer from B&Q dead cheap it is there unlike the car shops,
failing that i put my full hand on my wind screen and let my body warmth melt a bit and then stick my wipers on full
but the best wy is i stick a old bath towel across my wind screen the night before then just peel it off in the morning

i have no clue what i would do luckily i live in so cal and lived just north of SF so i've never had to worry about it!
i use the defrosters get aggravated because it takes to long, wipe a area so i can see and go
lick it.
Start the vehicle, then go back in the house. The benefits of being a hick.
de-icer! easy!
SEND the hubby out with the de-icer and a scraper. He puts the heater on for 20 minutes before I get into the car...You don`t keep a dog then bark yourself.....!!! ha ha
i go out and start up the car, come in and have a coffee and when im ready to go its all defrosted....and inside the car is cosy too.

Hot water can damage the screen, that deicer stuff rots out your window seal.
I stick to the old fashioned scraper as its less of a problem to the screen....
Oh and my other car has a heated screen so you just push a button and in about 2 mins its clear!
scrape it with a nectar card. thats all its good for
I get my hubby to scrape it, while I sit inside and keep warm.
Why have a dog and bark yourself!
I use de-icer spray
buy some deicer that`s the best way to clear ice from windscreen and it`s cheap.
