I am always honest and tell the truth instead of just caressing the ego, ya know if the shirt makes you look fat Im going to be like WOW that looks horrible, not yeah you look great and then let them go in public looking like crap, you get known as a beotch. People can't handle the truth, they just want justification from another person to a question they already THINK is right in their head.

Depends on the question really. if you have a friend who is trying on this dress that clearly does nothing for her figure i would have to say its not good for them. I would rather be honest if i can. Then again if the person cant handle it then its their problem not yours. lol. My friends dont ask me stupid obvious questions anymore now lol

I think it is OK as long as it doesn't compromise your values or principles. Otherwise, I would just tell them what needed to be told regardless if they liked it or not. I have dealt with a lot of whiners in my life, and sometimes you just have to be blunt and tell them off.
