Because most kids are loud. The stimulus is meant to keep kids attention. But there is a volume switch on the tv ....turn it down

To get the kids attention, whenever I put cartoons on for my kids I have to raise the volume up pretty loud to get their attention & make them be good. I am such a good daddy ain't I?
