Have you heard an argument that is SO far off that it leaves you speechless?!
Question: My wife and I were talking about adult videos and other adult-themed entertainment. She is dead-set against it and I'm more "tolerant" of it.
Anyways, one time, my wife thought I was watching some Skinemax. During the discussion, she goes, "So is that what you want (our 3-year-old daughter) to do when she grows up?"
I was FLOORED! I thought THAT argument was so far off-base and out of left field that you can't really defend against it.
I guess with that logic, I watch a LOT of UFC and other mixed-martial arts. So I suppose I want my daughter to fight in the Octagon when she grows up, right? I LOVE Jack*ss, the show AND the movies? I suppose I want my little girl to be a female Steve-O when she grows up, right?
See my point? What do you think? I'd REALLY like to hear from the ladies on this one...

My ex and I got in this fight because I refused to give his car back to him... I borrowed his car because the bastard wrecked mine and there was a big ice storm and I wouldn't pick him up from work .... He said I didn't love him and was a ***** for not driving in dangerous conditions to get him and I asked him if he really wanted me to kill myself to get him ... And he said yes. So in his mind I was suppose to kill myself to please him....
All this just because I refused to get him... Now what does me not driving in to pick him up from work when he could just stay at a friends house have to do with love? Especially if the roads are a sheet of ice....
No I didn't love him and I smashed the **** out of his lights and keyed his car after that and had my best friend who hated him return it to him like that...

LOL, she's right. You shouldn't be watching any porn as a married man, that's cheating and plus your wife don't like it so don't watch it!
One of my most recent courses in college was Critical Thinking. It was basically a class in arguments. Yes, her point was irrelevant and way off.
well....i know EXACTLY what you are talking about. my ex was JUST like that...he made arguments that just made NO sense all the time and it just annoyed me so bad!
Now, about your situation.....well, the thing is, she doesnt really have a good argument why you shouldnt watch porn. the truth is, us girls just usually dont like it when our man watches porn becasue we feel like you are replacing us or we're not good enough or something ridiculous like that. so, she was just pulling something out of thin air to try to make you feel guilty so you wouldnt watch porn. as lame as it was.....
good luck, buddy...this is an ongoing problem between a lot of couples. just make sure you put out and she shouldnt have reason to complain about it
