Havent done so in years. I used to bite them so short and it hurt sometimes too. Yuck. Would not do it again though. I like my nails

I’ve bitten my nails for as long as I can remember, a couple of times I’ve managed to stop for a few weeks but when they got too long I’d just resort to biting as cutting nails was alien to me, (and perceived as a hassle!). I’m now 4 weeks into not biting them again, and I’ve actually bothered to cut them properly. Here’s hoping that it continues. What worries me is that my son has picked up the habit and he’s much worse than I ever was
i used to when i was small, then got terrified when my mother told me she'd keep Tabasco sauce on my nails if she caught me biting them! =P

no .. they are a sharpened perfectly manicured tool which i use on a regular basis for poking my husband in the back with for when he gets cheeky
