they like you and your friendship and so you and your opinion mean a lot to them. it's just human nature!

man i dont know, i guess because since we know them an insult or opinion comes down harder on them
sometimes you should think about words come out more; this what happens to me sometimes I try to be more considerate.
I think it's because we expect to many things from friends and family which they can not be delivered...I feel if you don't expect things from people then you wont be offended..I suppose that's a bit sad but it's just how I feel...
Take it you have just offended your friend then, next you will be asking the best way to make up with your friend.

I,ve always held that the measure of a friend is one who will insult you, take insults in return, and not give a rats *** about it either way.
You can be offensive without intending to, I,ve done it myself, but your real friends will come back at you just as quickly with an insult of their own.
They take everything too seriously, lighten up, life's too short!!
I think we can all get 'not necessarily' easily offended, but some people are very thoughtless and it can be hurtful
