Is there really a pole?!
Question: To show where the north pole is
Answers: To show where the north pole is
Unlike the south pole, the north pole isn't on land, so the pole would move about a bit and then fall in the sea. You could ask a Pole to stand on, say, Iceland and point on request, but he/she would have to take account of the variation in the position of the magnetic pole vs. the true pole (unless he/she is a true Pole, then he/she could point at him/herself).
someone must have put one there but its now covered over with snow
Yes this is really a poll and if your ever bored tell me and i'll give you a fun website!!
well yeah.
duh, i just visited Santa there last week.
& guess what?!
surprisingly, you actually made the nice list this year!
Woo!
im so proud of you!
=]
yes... a massive magical pole with penguins dancing and polar bears serving champagne!
more like a matchstick
Hahahaha, no. As the north pole is in a frozen ocean the Ice flow is contanly moving, so if there was a pole it would move as the ice moved. Last year the Russians placed a cannister on the see floor to mark it but it was just a political stunt.
