I have a 10 month old son who got me a lovely card, a mug saying "i love you mummy" and a teddy (obviously bought by his dad), it was my first mothers day today so i was so happy with what i got!
mmm...i washed his car, and he's 23. enough said!!

There's no way to "spoil" a mother - given what child-birth entails. And the brief involvement of males in the 9 month process.
Perhaps - some day - the balance will be redressed. ???
I went out and bought my sons mother some nice things from him and his little sister. As a thank you to her for doing such a great job with them they are both lovely. And hats off to all Mums alas mine is no longer here I miss her though. xx

Yes I had a huge bouquet of flowers from my boys..When my youngest was in nursery school he told his teacher I had died so he wouldn`t have to make me a Mother`s Day card....little tinker
